Day 43 - Telephoto at Spring Creek Canyon Park

T and I headed out to the Spring Creek Canyon Park after finishing up the last of our Christmas shopping (wahoo!!!). I used my 75-300mm lens the whole time. I'm not as comfortable with this lens yet. It's the older version, so it doesn't have IS. My photos came out a little hazy, which could be due in part to the overcast day, but I think my UV filter has a part to play in that as well. I mostly shot without it.

Sitting at the stoplight at Horsetooth and College, I had to laugh at the license plate of the GMC van in front of me (no, there was no red racing stripe):

The last three are shots of the ground in the parking lot. The "shadowed" pictures are from my side-view mirror, and either I've focused on the mirror or the ground just beyond it.

Canon EOS Rebel XSi 75-300mm f/4-5.6 AF lens, UV filter sometimes but mostly without.
