There's this annoying problem of trying to get my whites to match. My three shots of the same refrigerator are different colors because of my angle of shooting, and also I think the color of the magnets affects how the software interprets "Auto Levels" which is what I typically use to quickly process my photos. I know this issue would be much more easily resolved if I shot in RAW because I'd still be able to adjust the white balance, but I currently don't have a photo-editing program that can process in RAW. I have PS7, and apparently it was the first year they had a RAW converter, but it's an extra $100 for that add-on.
I could most likely fix the problem if I fiddled a while with different layers, but I usually don't spend much time in PS with these photos. I'm hoping sometime in the near future I can purchase CS5, but even at the 80% student discount it's still $400.
