Still life
I decided that since I don't often have human subjects, I would take portraits of inanimate objects to hone my lighting skills.
Setup: the can is on a semi-reflective cookie sheet, with the main source of light (flash) to the left and reflected light (white part of my soft box) to the right.

I heart gun(NY)
I saw that on a shirt today and it made me giggle (you know, because I live in Gunny). Here are some photographs from my walk today. These are with my 50 mm 1.8/f lens.
