OK, so I haven't posted in a while...

I chalk it up to losing steam and travel and being a mom of two kids.  Here is a photograph of Louie for you to go "d'awwwww!" at and forget that I am slacking.

I'll figure something out soon.

Day 189-191: Diaper

My 50 mm f/1.8 lens with a 4x macro filter, plus my macro ring light.  I only have two pictures here because of the three images I liked, two were very similar, and I posted four last time.

Day 186-188: The phone book we accidentally left by the sprinklers

Or rather, that was delivered in an unfortunate spot and we never moved it.  Anyway, it's not like we use phone books anymore.

Day 183-185: Crap I found in the irrigation ditch

In Gunnison the river is partially rerouted in the spring and summer to an irrigation ditch system that runs through or under everyone's yards.  With the help of a ditch pump, the townsfolk are able to water their lawns for free.  These pictures are of a broken bolt and a pair of little tikes binoculars I found by our ditch.  And yes, hon, I am throwing them away.

Day 180-182: Drain Hair

In a photography email newsletter I received, it was suggested, in order to bolster creativity, think of 10 things you wouldn't photograph and then photograph them.  For the month of June, I am going to post three photos of each of the 10 things I don't like or wouldn't think to photograph.

Yes, cats will be on there.  This is why I hate cat photography.  Ugh.

Anyway, here is the first on my list (no particular order): Drain hair.  Kinda gross.

Day 165-179: The rest of May

So life has been a little chaotic with two kids, and other things like eating and sleeping have been taking priority for me some days.  Photo editing also gets challenging while breastfeeding one kid and chasing another.  I do, however, have 15 photos for you to finish off the month of May.

I was cleaning the bathroom the other day and I squirted the toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet to let it sit for a while and work.  When I came back to it, this is what it looked like in the water.  Pretty cool, huh?

I love the sharpness and color of this one:
