Still life: Measuring cup
Bottom view of a 1/4 c measuring cup from my favorite set. It belonged to my Grandma Edna, and every time I cook using them it reminds me of her.

Still life
I decided that since I don't often have human subjects, I would take portraits of inanimate objects to hone my lighting skills.
Setup: the can is on a semi-reflective cookie sheet, with the main source of light (flash) to the left and reflected light (white part of my soft box) to the right.

Visitors on a photo shoot
Today I did an outdoor maternity photo shoot for my friend Heidi and her husband, Kevin. While we were shooting, we had some visitors walk behind us. I think they were trying to photo bomb us.
