Day 8

Man, it was a tough day for getting out of the house. That sometimes happens when you have a baby in tow. Luckily for me, DH came home and watched T for about an hour so I could go out to the store for some "me" time.

It was a tough day for pictures, too, but I decided on some photos of a Madonna statue I bought from a vendor from Bethlehem. This time I think the poor lighting in my apartment worked to my advantage. The kitchen table made for a nice background.

My favorite is the second. I like the out-of-focus ghostly effect.

Another goal--learn to use light better, both available and flash/added. I'd love to take a light workshop someday because my light skills are pretty rudimentary. Someday :o)
